Clinics & Services
Medicals are performed by all of the Doctors during normal surgery.
Incorporated in ordinary surgeries are various special services. These include
- chronic disease checks including diabetes, asthma, heart and blood pressure checks
- well woman checks
- well man checks
- minor surgery and joint/ soft tissue injections
- routine immunisations
- travel advice/ immunisation

NHS Health Checks are available for all patients between 40 - 74 years of age.
Dr Shaw does minor operations on Friday afternoons at Chacewater Surgery.
Dr Bolton does minor operations on Wednesday afternoons at Devoran Surgery.
The doctors are all fully qualified to provide Family Planning Services. Dr Margie Shaw, Dr Natalie Dawes and Sarah McConville (NP) fit coils and contraceptive implants. The doctors do not undertake home births.

Regular Health Visitor clinics are held at the following:
Threemilestone Surgery - every Thursday 11.00 am - 1.00 pm
Truro Health Park - every Wednesday 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Judith Handley, Physiotherapist regularly works at Chacewater Surgery Wednesday Afternoon, Thursday (all day) and Friday (all day)
Special foot clinics are held by Peter Wicks, at Chacewater Surgery and Devoran Surgery once a month. This is an Age Concern Service and if you are interested in attending either clinic please contact us on 01872 560346 / 01872 562200 for further inforamtion.
