We congratulate Dr Tom Weake on recently being appointed

as a GP in the Lander Surgery

We have enjoyed having him work here and wish him well

From 1st February 2012 Dr Alex Burns will take over looking after

Dr Bolton's patients until his return in June 2012

We are now able to send out text reminders to be sent to patients.

Initially we are only using this service for our physiotherapy appointments but hope to expand it to all appointments in the future. 

To ensure that this service works we do require patient’s mobile telephone numbers. If, however, you do not wish to receive reminders please let reception know and we can remove your details from the system.

The messages are sent the day before your appointment and will be sent during working hours. You will not be able to respond via text to this message. If you have any questions regarding this service please do not hesitate to contact us. There are forms available at reception to leave us your mobile numbers or decline to receive messages.

Please note - If we already have your mobile number on record you will need to notify us if you do not wish to receive these reminders.

PATIENT FORUM MEMBERS

Twice a year the surgery meets with 6 patients to discuss the surgeries development and plans for the future. It is also a chance for these patients to feed back to us about any problems that they or any other patient has encountered at the surgery so that we can discuss and improve upon our services.If you have any problems or issues with the surgery and feel that you are not able to speak directly to us about them you can contact any member and they can deal with this for you. This can be done in complete confidence and can be raised at the meetings anonymously.
