Park runs are free weekly timed events all over the UK encouraging people to become healthier and improve their well-being.

Our surgery is linking with Trelissick park run:
- It starts at 9am every Saturday morning.
- At least one member of our team will be there every week to either volunteer, walk, run and most importantly support you.
- Turn up and walk, jog or run 5k.
If you are not up for taking part you can get involved by becoming a volunteer.
There are other local park runs every Saturday at Heartlands and Penrose.

National Diabetes Audit: Helping to improve diabetes care

This GP practice is taking part in an important national project about diabetes care and treatment in the NHS. The project is called the National Diabetes Audit (NDA).
To take part, your GP practice will share information about your diabetes care and treatment with the NDA. The type of information, and how it is shared, is controlled by law and enforced by strict rules of confidentiality and security.
For further information about how your information is used please see the NDA patient information leaflet.
Taking part in the NDA shows that this GP practice is committed to improving care for people with diabetes.

Falmouth Health Walks  - A Healthy Alternative

Falmouth Health Walks meet every Tuesday at 10 am for a very sociable walk.

These walks are all graded from 1 the easiest to 3 the slightly more challenging and vary every week with some lasting 60 mins and others lasting as long as 1.5 hours. We always walk to the pace of the slowest participant.

These walks are totally stress free and we make sure we stop for a coffee en route.

Please give us a try and see if we offer what you want.  All walks are risk assessed and we go off in all weathers.

We are a fun mixed group of ladies and gents.  We meet at Princess Pavilions on alternate Tuesdays for a Falmouth based walk.

All of the Falmouth based walks have an option for a shorter 20 - 30 minute walk if needed. The other weeks we go out and about to many different places. We have a total of 18 different walks.

Please find attached a form to update your contact details with the surgery. We often find that the contact telephone numbers we have for patients are no longer in use and would appreciate it if you could take the time to update these for us.

As a practice we are keen to move towards email communication and would ask if you could also provide us with an email address we could use to contact you with. Due to patient confidentiality we would need to have separate email addresses for all patients over the age of 16.

Did you know that you can receive text messages to remind you when you have an appointment booked? We just need your mobile number and consent.

Virtual Patient Forum Group

We always welcome feedback from patients and have established a ‘virtual’ group of patients who can be contacted via email for their views and opinions on matters that may arise throughout the year. We would really like this group of patients to be a true representation of our patient population to ensure that the services we provide are useful and accessible to all patients.

If you would like to be involved in this please could you fill in the form which is available from reception or via our website. Our patient forum representatives will then discuss the thoughts and suggestions from the ‘virtual’ members at their meetings.
