Breast Screening

Women in the Chacewater & Devoran area aged between 50 and 70 will shortly be invited for breast screening.

We know that if breast cancer is detected early, treatment is more successful and there is a good chance of survival.

Locally, huge efforts have been made to safely restore the breast screening service which had previously been  impacted by the pandemic.

As a practice, we strongly support the breast screening programme and urge wome to attend when invited.

If you are not in this age group but have noticed changes in your breast such as lumps, skin changes, a newly inverted nipple or nipple discharge (especially 1 sided), please make an appointment with one of our doctors.
