Routine Appointments

You can make a non-urgent routine appointment by speaking to a receptionist or over the internet. If you only want to talk to your doctor on the phone, you can also arrange a telephone appointment.

Most appointments are for 10 minutes. More time may be needed if you have several problems to discuss or need a complex examination such as an ECG or a cervical smear. If you are not sure how long you need, please discuss it with our receptionist.

If more than one member of the family wants to see the doctor or the nurse, please make a separate appointment for each person.

To request a routine appointment call the main switchboard number for the surgery of your choice.

If you wish to see a doctor for an ongoing condition or review, please ask to see the same doctor if possible.

Although all patients will have a Registered GP, you do not have to see that particular doctor but can request a GP of your choice, subject to availability.

We never refuse to see urgent cases. These will normally be fitted in at the end of the Surgery.

We do try to keep to appointment times however, some problems take longer and sometimes an emergency removes the doctor from Surgery. Please be patient in these circumstances.
