From Monday 22nd July our Reception and Dispensary teams will be completing an audit on medication collections. This will involve asking patients to open their bag of medication prior to leaving the surgery to ensure that they need everything that is in there. A lot of medication is ordered that is not needed and so this audit is to try to look at the reasons as to why this is happening and what measures we can introduce to help reduce waste.
